Rehabilitation that gets you back to your sport
Sports physiotherapy is for athletes and casual players who have been injured, and for anyone who wants to stay injury-free. We design a programme around your sport, your position and the demands you put on your body.
Rehabilitation continues after pain settles. We rebuild strength, control and confidence, and check the movement patterns that led to the injury. If you are still in the early stage of an injury, start with our sports injury treatment page.

Frequently asked questions
When am I ready to return to sport?
When you have regained strength, movement and confidence, and can complete sport-specific drills without pain. We agree these checkpoints with you at the start.
Can sports physiotherapy stop injuries happening?
It cannot remove all risk, but identifying weak links, fixing movement habits and managing training load all lower the chance of a repeat injury.
Do you treat runners?
Yes. Shin splints, runner's knee, plantar fasciitis and Achilles problems are common. Our podiatry team can add a gait analysis and, where suitable, insoles.
Is this only for professional athletes?
No. Our programmes are for athletes and casual players alike.
